Structural Integrators is a startup whose focus is integration and efficiency within engineering firms.
Our goal is to provide engineers and technicians with the tools they need to work efficiently and to reduce duplication of effort when working with multiple software applications on the same project.
We believe in forming relationships with our clients that extend beyond the sale of products or services. Understanding how our clients work is key to our success and customer support is our highest priority.
Elizabeth Shulok is the founder and President of Structural Integrators, LLC. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Humboldt State University with a B.A. in Mathematics, and has an extensive background in software development with a focus on interoperability in the structural engineering software industry.
Elizabeth began her career at RAM International in 1998, and was soon involved in the AISC’s effort to establish CIS/2 as the standard for data exchange among structural engineering software applications. She was responsible for the development of the CIS/2 translator for the RAM Structural System™, which allows engineers to export their analysis models to 3rd party applications such as detailing packages.
Elizabeth subsequently helped develop RAM DataAccess, the component of the RAM Structural System that allows 3rd party applications to communicate with RAM models. She helped expand the capabilities of RAM DataAccess to allow for bi-directional links with applications such as Bentley Structural.
Her focus on interoperability continued after RAM International was acquired by Bentley Systems in late 2005. In her new role as Manager of Product Integration, Building Structural Solutions, she led the successful development of a link between RAM Structural System and Autodesk® Revit® Structure.
In addition to software development, Elizabeth has provided technical support to both clients and 3rd party developers, helping to ensure that they have the solutions they need to get their jobs done.
With a firm understanding of the issues involved in integrating engineering software from multiple vendors, Elizabeth saw an opportunity to offer innovative solutions to engineers as an independent solution provider. Building on her background and her commitment to customer service, she formed Structural Integrators, LLC in August of 2007.
